Dennis R. Hunt
Dennis R. Hunt, D.D.S., is a board eligible Periodontist committed to research for the advancement of Periodontics. Dr. Hunt graduated from California State University, Hayward with a B.S., Biological Science and a minor in Chemistry. In 1997, Dr. Hunt graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and UCLA graduate Periodontal Residency Certificate Program with a Masters Degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Hunt’s activity in research has produced five published papers in professional journals. His research interest is primarily centered on Alveolar Bone Reconstruction. Dr. Hunt is a part-time faculty member at UCLA Department of Oral Biology. He has lectured at UCLA and worldwide. Dr. Hunt has recently won Best Research Lecture award at the Academy of Osseointegration held in Toronto, Canada. Other work has included 1997’s World-Wide Web at UCLA Periodontics Center author of Antibiotic Use in Periodontics, working with Dr. M. Newman, and Dr. J. Kim.
Dr. Hunt is a member of the following professional affiliations: California Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontics, and European Academy of Ossteointegration. Dr. Hunt’s hobbies are tennis, golf, and world travel.
